I am
a reflection in the
rippled waters
of a mountain lake.
I am
floating in the
Milky Way
a part of all stars.
I am
a drop of rain
in an ocean,
riding out the tide.
I am
a Redwood tree
tall and strong
swaying with the breeze.
I am
a lanterns flame,
shadows dancing,
from night to day.
I am
the autumn wind
through leafy chimes in trees,
of all colors and shapes.
I am
in God's garden
among the flowers,
amid the thorns.
I am
unique and beloved
to the One
who made me.
I am
therefore I think,
with a heavenly mind,
Earth but a shrine.
I am
alive and in love
with my gift
from my God.
I am
life in motion
emotionally driven,
baptized and forgiven.
