Peace lie down,
rest your gentle head upon my shoulder,
sing to me of joyful tears,
laugh with me like rushing waters,
live in me and fill my spirit,
love with me until I hear it.
Sweet songs of life,
inside my heart,
wanting nothing but your arms
wrapped around me like a father,
holding on in deepest water.
I feel no shame,
I hide no fear,
wandering footsteps upon the Earth,
drinking deep from your endless fountain,
from ocean bed to snow capped mountain.
Glory, glory in your name,
I bow down to my saviour king.
I feel faint when you draw near,
blissful darkness full of light,
soaking life from your great might.
