His spirit is the fire within my eyes,

A radiant dancing soul aflame,

The power of life brought through death,

One heart stopped so that others might flow.

Boundless love within, without sin,

Like a river rushing, raging,

Brushing the tears from my eyes.

His words whispered in my ears,

I love you,

I live for you,

I died for you,

You’re forgiven.

You worthy one, your pains undone

I free the bondage of your deceitful mind,

To release your soul, to hold your heart,

To brush your lips with words of joy,

With the gift of praise,

Songs sung by the glory of day,

Never, my child, will I go away.

I see my God

Through dance, through art,

Through music, in words,

In fact everywhere I turn my eyes

Your presence is alive.

Oh my God, my love, my destiny

I bow to you on bended knee.

You gave me life, then life again,

I am your servant, yet you called me friend.

I see before me sons and daughters,

I see your beauty in skies and waters.

A world made whole, a vision grand,

A garden lived in , until sin broke it apart,

Creating a brand new role for man,

For woman, for Earth as a whole.

A long time lived without the Spirit,

Until Christ came we weren’t even near it.

But lo arrived that Glorious day,

You came to us dressed as a man,

To teach, to love, to give your life

Nails in your hand.

A life ended, you risen, then ascended.

The curtain was torn between You and me

And finally God you let us see.

The depth of your love, the strength of your heart,

Your word, your wisdom,

Your desire for me.

When I cried for you, you took my hand,

And You died for me as the final lamb.

Take me Lord into your arms,

I feel your breath soft and warm,

In the breeze, through the trees,

In deepest waters, on mountain high,

In the songs of birds, in the night sky,

In a mothers words, in a fathers eyes

Your ways, your means, all truth, so wise.

I lay, oh Lord, at your feet,

My heart wide open, my soul laid out

Without a doubt, as I shout,

“Father! Jesus! Oh Spirit Holy!

Take me now, for I am yours fully!
